Add a touch of style to your Autumn with the Bead Doctor’s Glamorous Gold jewellery tutorial
Step 1: Gather materials
Find a list of everything you will need below.

Step 2: Cut and prepare plastic coated wire
Cut 40cm of plastic coated wire.
Thread on a crimp, bend the end of the wire around and thread back through the crimp so you have a loop in the wire.
Squeeze the crimp tightly with the flat part of your pliers.
Close a crimp cover around the crimp for a neat finish.
Step 3: Cut chain
Cut 60cm of light chain and trace chain.
Thread the wire through the end link of each piece of chain.
Weave through a few more links so that you have a small bunch of chain that is approximately 1cm.
Thread on a black bead and pull tight.
Step 4: Pass the chain across the bead
Pass the chains across the front of the bead and thread the wire through the links in the chains to make the chain sit as tightly across the bead as possible.
Weave through a few more links so that you have another small bunch of chain.
Add six of your beads in this way.
Step 5: Add a crimp and loop
Thread the wire through a few final links of chain and trim any excess chain.
Thread on a crimp, pass the wire back through the crimp to make a loop and squeeze flat.
Trim the excess wire and finish with a crimp cover.
Step 6: Add chain and clasp
Cut two 17cm lengths of light chain and attach one to each side of the beaded section with an 8mm jump ring.
Add a jump ring to the other end of one chain and a jump ring with trigger clasp to the other.
Step 7: Add jump ring detail
Add seven 8mm jump rings over each of the bunches of chain to a create an extra bit of detail.

Going for gold!
My glamorous gold tutorial is an old favourite of mine. Its sparkling gold chain fits in perfectly with my Autumn themed collection. I also thought that this would make a rather classy addition to an outfit for a grown up Halloween party!

Glamorous Gold is my favorite one, a versatile set that reflects autumn in a not-so-obvious way but can also be a fabulous piece for any celebration!
The gold and black are a perfect match, the squares and chain give it a modern edge and the project can be handled even by beginners.

I love this piece because it looks really elegant and modern. I can see all the work and time it requires and I def, want one for me!
I love this kit because it looks not only like a great project for a beginner like me, but it has a wonderfully elegant flair to it. I have made the autumn leaf earrings and have got the leaf charm set, but this is a different approach to autumn all together. The neat thing is that it can also be worn into winter or when going out in the evening for a fancy dinner wrapped up in a warm jacket to keep the wind out.
I like the modern touch and the fact that it is a complete set with earrings as well as a neck piece. Meaning that you don’t have to ponder how to match it with something equally glamorous.

I would love this as im surprised how much i like it as i dont normally make anything with gold, and this looks really glam and i would love the challenge to try making with something i wouldnt normally use
